Getting back into NLHE
A couple months ago things were starting to look good, and my sng graph definitely was headed in the right direction.
After going on a bit of a heater things turned against me, and all gains quickly evaporated and put me right back where i was before my run. The past month I have not been playing on fulltiltpoker too much, instead focusing on victorypoker where I have been trying to develop some pot limit omaha skills. Things there have been going pretty good. I signed up mainly to take advantage of their 40% rakeback program, and from my original $50 deposit i am sitting on a little over $40 still over about 1K hands.
Considering I dont really know what im doing in PLO, i think being down only 10 bucks over 1K hands is not too bad, granted I have managed to get something like $15 back in rakeback, so that helps too!
Last couple nights I have started playing NLHE on fulltilt again, so far mostly just playing big tourney’s and some shoot out sngs. Not the best poker I have ever played, but for the next few weeks at least I am going to focus back on NHLE and see how things go.
I did pick up Mike Matusow’s book today, Check Raising The Devil, and really looking forward to reading it… Mike the Mouth is the man, and based on some of the excerpts that I have read I think this is going to be a pretty brutal, honest look at a man that loves to gamble and loves to party!!
